The Middle Fork Judith

Hello! We are a loosely organized group of locals and people who care about our mountains, wildlife, and livelihoods. We came together in 2022 when we learned that legislation was introduced in the United States Senate about our Middle Fork Judith Wilderness Study Area. While we still aren’t exactly sure what the future of the Wilderness Study Area should look like, we are sure that the future of this area should be guided by community members, land owners, and those of us who actually recreate, hunt, fish, and depend on the Middle Fork for our livelihood. When the legislation was again introduced this year by Senator Daines we decided we needed to do something in order to make this a local decision and not a mandate from Washington D.C.
